merry christmas.

Spending time with family and friends at Christmas is my favourite time of the year and that is what I will be doing over the next few days. I hope that everyone of this blog’s readers have a safe and happy holiday.

I’m going to be taking a break from blogging over the next few days and have some more year-end posts teed up for next week (looking at our political parties and the rising power of Edmonton and Calgary).

Tune in to The Rutherford Show on Wednesday, December 29 at 9am when I will be talking with guest host Rob Breakenridge about Alberta politics in 2010. You can listen on AM770 in southern Alberta, 630CHED in northern Alberta, and online anywhere.

Thanks again to all of this blog’s readers and guest contributors for your continued readership and participation in the political debate in Alberta.

2010 has been a great year to write about politics in Alberta and all indications suggest that 2011 will be even more interesting!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Dave: A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Out of the province for the next week, but sure you’ll ace the Rutherford spot. Be sure to mention how those pesky bloggers in Calgary and Edmonton affected how the municipal races were covered. 😉

I hope you go through some of the new cabinet appointments this year. There has been relatively little scrutiny on any of them.
