It’s Election Day in Alberta! If you didn’t vote in the advance polls, voting stations are open today from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Interesting that you mentioned Grant Notley & Larry Shaben in this column. Mr Shaben was on the same plane as Grant Notley when it crashed in High Prairie in 1984, killing Mr Notley & seriously injuring Mr Shaben. A prisoner — Paul Archambault — being transported by an RCMP officer is credited with saving the lives of Mr Shaben, the RCMP, & the other crash survivors.
