Photo of the Day: Smoky skies over beautiful Jasper National Park

Smoke from forest fires in the Rocky Mountains covers the mountain skyline of Jasper National Park.

Smoke from forest fires in the Rocky Mountains covers the mountain skyline of Jasper National Park.

The park was established in 1907 as Jasper Forest Park and was granted national park status in 1930, with the passing of the National Parks Act. The park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.

We are so luck to have beautiful national parks like Jasper in our country.
